"Dia de los Muertos"

Why is it celebrated?

• it is celebrated to reconize the family or friends that had passsed away.

When does it occur?

• November 1st is celebrated for baby or lil kids.
• November 2nd is celebrated for the adults.

Where are the festivities held?

• Someone can do it in there home
• in the Plaza.
• in the cemeteries.

What do the altars look like?

• they have the deaths favorite food.
• flowers that aer called "Cempasuchil" known as marigolds.
• pictures
• beer/glass of water
• if it was a young person it had lil toys.
• bread

What are comparsas?

Prop 4 wants Minor’s to have a parents consent about getting an abortion in other words you can have an abortion unless you have your mom/dad/guardians permission and if the doctor does an abortion to a minor with out the parent knowing they will take there doctors license's away. I think this is a bad proposition because a person has the right over making a choice and if they want to have an abortion it will not had to have her mothers consent. If i was the mother of a girl i wouldn't like to know that my daughter had an abortion i would just want her to do it and me not know.
